I know what is like...
DEAR HOME OWNER
Before I go any further… I want to put your fears to rest about a certain issue…
All you have to do is make a commitment to yourself…A commitment to take action right now.
I know what it is like to feel desperate… I know what it’s like to feel confused… I know what it is like to feel like there is no way out… Just like I know… that you know… those same feelings…
But I got lucky… I found a way out… and I want to share it with you. It reminds me of a story about a guy who was walking along in the dark… and fell into a deep hole… He was in this hole for hours in the dark… until eventually daylight broke and people started to walk past the hole…
The guy shouted with all his lung power for help…but few people stopped… A priest stopped and offered to pray with him…but that didn’t get him out of the hole… A man threw down a piece of rope but it was too short…so that didn’t help him either…
A young boy said he would run to get help…but he never returned… As the day wore on, more people tried to help him but failed… And as daytime crossed over into night he was still stuck in the hole… he was getting desperate and confused, he couldn’t see a way out and he couldn’t find anyone that could help him out…
Suddenly, in the distance, he could just make out a noise, a voice calling his name… As it came closer he recognized the voice of his best friend… He started shouting, and guided his best friend towards him…
When his best friend reached the top of the hole and called his name the guy just started crying and pleading to his best friend to help get him out… His best friend called down to him that he will get him out… Suddenly the best friend jumped into the hole and landed beside the guy…
The guy was furious… “Why the hell did you jump in here?” “Now the two of us are stuck in this damn hole?” His best friend calmly looked at him and answered …
“That’s true…but I have been in his hole before…. AND I KNOW THE WAY OUT”
Now I may not be your best friend…but I have been in the hole you are in now…and I know the way out…all you have to do …is follow me!
